Rush Hair and Beauty celebrates first franchise signing of 2015

Former employee Graham Bates to open chain’s 64th outlet in TOWIE hotspot Brentwood

Award-winning hairdressing brand Rush Hair and Beauty has extended its franchise to Brentwood; the area popular with The Only Way is Essex cast, with the signing of new franchisee Graham Bates.

Having previously worked for the chain for seven years, Bates decided to take up the franchise venture as “owning a salon was something he always wanted to do” and will be celebrating the official opening of the outlet on Saturday 11 April.

The signing marks Rush’s 64th UK salon in its 21 year-history, and its first franchise of the new year, but the hairdressing franchise is keen to drive further expansion in other areas of the country.

It says its franchise is ideally suited to those who have the “desire to run a successful business, the ability to deliver exceptional customer service” and a minimum of £15,000 to invest.

Discussing his transition from Rush employee to Rush franchise owner, Graham Bates commented:

“I love the brand, I believe Rush is the most exciting group in the industry, and I am very proud to be opening my first franchise salon.

“I have spent a huge amount of time working very closely with head office and our academy to select the right team for my salon. I am passionate about offering all clients a great experience and outstanding service, and this will flow throughout the team.”
