Salesforce Ventures commits $100m to cloud computing start-ups
Investment arm of the cloud software firm wants to "empower the next generation" of enterprise cloud start-ups across Europe
Salesforce Ventures, the investment arm of cloud computing firm Salesforce, has pledged to invest $100m in European start-ups working on cloud innovation and customer relationship management.
With Europe’s public cloud software market forecast to grow to €33.3bn by 2019, portfolio companies will receive funding and support from Salesforce to bolster growth and capitalise on the market opportunities.
John Somorjai, executive vice president of Salesforce Ventures, commented:
