Europe’s 25 Corporate Startup Stars winner is a former start-up, successfully fostering talent through education and investment
Having begun life as a start-up 40 years ago, multinational software corporation SAP SE is committed to working with the next generation of innovators.
The SAP Startup Focus programme works with entrepreneurs in the big data, predictive and real-time analytics space – including machine learning and artificial intelligence – to develop new applications on SAP technology and accelerate market traction.
Led by an entrepreneurial executive team, there are currently 3,500 enterprise software start-ups from 57 countries in its start-up family. Apart from a direct engagement with start-ups, SAP also promotes innovation through an IoT accelerator, university alliances and an employee intrapreneurship programme, among other initiatives.
