Scottish Equity Partners leads £10.5m investment in Pure360

Funding of the email and SMS marketing company set to increase revenue and growth potential

The email marketing software provider, Pure360 has secured £10.5m investment in a funding round led by venture capital firm Scottish Equity Partners and banking and asset management specialist, Investec.

Launched in 2008, the Brighton-based business specialises in software which claims to improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns via email and SMS.

It aims to use the funding to further develop the functionality of its platform and expand its existing client base which includes Virgin and Innocent Drinks.

The marketing company also says the new developments to its technology will drive revenue growth and create over 60 new jobs in the next three years.

The deal is one of a series of investments led by Scottish Equity Partners in the digital media industry following its recent backing of Skyscanner and Social Bro.

CEO of Pure360, Stuart Dawson commented: “The investment will enable us to develop our platform’s functionalities even further, focusing on segmentation, geolocation and automation so that marketers can send messages at the right time, to the right people in the right place – predicting what they need, before they even know it themselves.”

Gordon Beveridge who secured the deal on behalf of Scottish Equity Partners added: “This funding to further develop its technological capabilities will take Pure360 to the next level.”
