Secret Campsite introduces nationwide franchise opportunities

Eco-friendly campsite has launched a part-time franchise business model due to high demand, promising average gross income of £75,000

Secret Campsite has announced it is expanding into franchising following “unprecedented success” and is offering new franchisees apart-time business model.

The company, which specialises in peaceful, tents only campsites, has promised that new franchisees can expect high returns, with the potential to earn a gross income of £75,000 over the seven month period the campsite operates.

Franchise owner Bullen, who set up the company after exiting his London media business and moving to countryside, says the franchise’s model is ideal for small holders, farmers, retirees, and young families who own land.

Potential franchisees will need to have at least eight acres of suitable land and initial investment costs start at £35,000 (plus VAT), with ongoing annual costs of approximately £25,000.

Secret Campsite’s Bullen commented:

“Over the past three summers I’ve had so many customers tell me that I’m living their dream, but they have no idea how to get started or what’s involved in running such a project. I’ve set up the franchise business model, to take the concept nationwide”

Secret Campsite’s business consultant, Clive Sawyer, added:

“Although our projected figures are conservative and there will be further scope to generate higher profits… It’s more a lifestyle choice and extension to family life, with a part-time home-based business, which will produce a significant, but not spectacular, income stream.”
