SJD Accountancy launches nationwide franchise operation Express Accountancy

Opportunities available for “budding entrepreneurial and experienced accountants”

Contractor and freelancer accountancy firm SJD accountancy has announced the launch of its new franchise venture, Express Accountancy, “the UK’s first, affordable” accountants designed especially for small and medium-sized businesses.

Initially opening in Brighton, Newcastle-upon Tyne and Hemel Hempstead, Express is looking for experienced accountants to join its chain via the franchise route and open up their own offices.

Express Accountancy will work with small business owners to provide a dedicated accountant for a monthly, all inclusive fixed fee and will support clients on various legal areas and bookkeeping issues including self-assessment, company returns and queries about financial jargon.

Franchise packages are available for a £50,000 initial fee and franchisees will receive a sales ‘toolkit’ with access to sales and marketing support as well as a minimum of “25 high quality leads”.

Franchisees will also benefit from a buy-back scheme which will enable those that wish to sell their franchise to have it incorporated back into the Express company.

Express Accountancy’s Heather Dore discussed the launch: “Having worked with thousands of small businesses over the years, we realised there was an increase in those working for themselves and requiring tax and accountancy advice.

“Offering our experience from 22 years in the accountancy field along with highly skilled accountants enables us to offer a highly personalised service.”
