Smart checklist tool Trail lands £900,000

Operations management checklist used by Itsu and Toosed will use investment to bolster team and push service to new customers

Trail, the smart checklist tool for businesses in the hospitality sector, has closed £900,000 funding from Global Founders Capital, Seedcamp and private investors including former Gondola CFO Nick Carter.

Based in London, Trail offers hospitality operators a daily checklist of tasks including operational actions, health and safety checks, audit and compliance management to help manage teams step-by-step.

Customers such as Enterprise Inns, Itsu and Tossed can use Trail to manage day-to-day administrative tasks and as a central operational hub to manage multiple locations.

The finance will fuel the development of the company’s platform, increase its team and target new customers such as coffee chains, restaurants and hotels.
