Start-ups encouraged to participate in tomorrow’s Micro Biz Matters Day

Enterprise Rockers initiative will include live Google stream with leading entrepreneurs such as Charlie Mullins and Apprentice winner Tim Campbell

Start-ups across the world are being encouraged to give nine minutes of their time tomorrow to support Micro Biz Matters Day, a new initiative organised by Enteprise Rockers to celebrate micro-businesses (under 9 employees).

Organised in partnership with Sage One and Google, the day will include a live stream of Google Hangouts throughout the day with well known entrepreneurs such as Pimlico Plumbers founder Charlie Mullins and the first ever Apprentice winner and Bright Ideas Trust founder Tim Campbell, alongside Enterprise Rockers co-founder Tony Robinson OBE.

Intended to highlight the contribution independent business owners and the self-employed make to the global economy, job creation and community, start-ups and established entrepreneurs are being asked to spend nine minutes doing something to help micro-businesses; from sharing tips on Twitter to a conference call with a new business.
