Start-ups offered chance to appear on billboard in “the heart” of London’s Tech City

One million online ad impressions available as part of Bag Yourself a Billboard competition

Software provider Sage has today launched a competition offering one UK start-up the opportunity to win two weeks of “premium” advertising on a billboard in Tech City, as well as one million online ad impressions.

Open to any business less than five years old with fewer than 50 employees, The Bag Yourself a Billboard: The Small Business Challenge is intended to help uncover original talent and aims to establish one small business as the “UK’s hottest new brand”.

Prospective entrants need to submit a 60 second elevator pitch explaining why their business deserves to win, each pitch will then be voted on by site visitors and Sage will choose the best “top rated” pitch.

The winning start-up will receive billboard space located on Curtain Road, near Old Street, from June 16 to June 29 and will also receive one million online banner impressions, both of which will be curated by Sage and creative agency OgilvyOne.

Sage predicts that both the bespoke billboard and online ads will help the winning entrant reach two million potential new customers.
