ATTENTION: UK’s best new businesses now have ’til April 3 to enter Startups 100 2018

The entry deadline for the Startups 100 2018 has been extended, giving the UK’s most ambitious small businesses until midnight on Tuesday 3 April to submit their entries for the prestigious annual index.

Celebrating its 10 year anniversary since it was first established, the Startups 100 – awarded by the British Media Awards – shines a light on the 100 most promising and exciting early stage companies launched in the UK in the last three years.

As well as receiving free PR, and exposure that can help to attract new clients and investors, inclusion in the renowned ranking puts you in illustrious company: notable alumni include Notonthehighstreet.com, Deliveroo, Ella’s Kitchen, and Crowdcube.

The 2017 index crowned e-commerce mattress company eve Sleep as its number one business with a host of other up-and-coming brands such as MonzoMysteryVibePip & Nut, and Bulb also listed.

Between them, last year’s companies had 2,187 staff and an average turnover of £1.64m. It was a bumper crop, and this year, we want it to be even bigger and better.

To be eligible for this year’s Startups 100 2018, your business must be UK-based, privately-owned and have launched on, or after, January 1 2015.

The judges will then be assessing businesses on the following criteria: an innovative USP, exceptional founders, employee numbers and contribution to the company, amount of funding raised or impressive organic growth, traction to date including current financials, potential for growth, and global ambitions.
