Silicon Valley entrepreneurs join Seedrs’ advisory board
Addition of Dave Morin and Logan Green comes as London based equity crowdfunding platform prepares for US expansion
Two of Silicon Valley’s most prominent entrepreneurs, Dave Morin and Logan Green, have joined Startups 100-listed equity crowdfunding company Seedrs ahead of its US launch later in the year.
Morin is co-founder and CEO of Path, a social networking site for photo sharing and messaging between close friends and family. He is also a managing partner at venture capital firm Slow Ventures, and previously worked at Facebook where he helped co-create Facebook Platform and Facebook Connect.
Green is co-founder and CEO of on-demand ride-sharing platform Lyft, with a vision to fill the 80% of empty seats on the road. The entrepreneur has a history in the sharing economy, having founded Lyft’s predecessor Zimride in 2007 and the first car-share program at UC Santa Barbara whilst serving on the board of the Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District.
The entrepreneurs will work with Seedrs as it tailors its platform to the US market and creates a marketplace of trans-Atlantic capital flows.
