Now in its eighteenth year, we have helped thousands of fledgling new businesses by offering them a vital early platform to kick-start their growth stories.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the many movers and shakers we have identified since 2008 include household names such as <a href=\"https:\/\/startups.co.uk\/startups-100\/2019\/1-5\/#:~:text=Disruptive%2C%20innovative%2C%20and%20with%20amazing,for%202019%2C%20it's%20number%20one.\">Revolut<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/startups.co.uk\/startups-100\/2017\/58-monzo\/\">Monzo<\/a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/startups.co.uk\/startups-100\/2015\/3-deliveroo\/\">Deliveroo<\/a>. Get your business in front of our judges to be in with a chance of making next year&rsquo;s list.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To apply to the Startups 100 Index 2027, your business must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be headquartered in the UK<\/li>\n<li>Be registered with Companies House<\/li>\n<li>Have been incorporated on or after <strong>1 January 2021<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And that&rsquo;s all we ask! As long as they fulfil the above criteria, our top 100 startups can be based in any industry and anywhere in the UK. And, excitingly, you don&rsquo;t need to be over 18 to apply; we welcome applications from founders of any age or background.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<\/p><div class=\"jumplink-anchor-section\">\n <div class=\"jumplink-anchor-pointer\" id=\"link-how-to-apply\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n[vc_column_text]\n<h2>How to apply for the Startups 100<\/h2>\n<p>Before you fill out our online entry form, you&rsquo;ll need to gather all the necessary information that we&rsquo;ll need to judge your application. That includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Basic business and founder details&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Your Companies House number<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>The story of your business journey&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Partner, client, and investor information<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Funding information&nbsp;<\/strong>(all financial data you provide us with will be kept confidential)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Growth statistics&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Social impact&nbsp;<\/strong>(such as information on sustainability, DEI, CSR)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Founder image&nbsp;<\/strong>of <em>at least<\/em> 1MB<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once you&rsquo;ve submitted your form, your application is complete, and we will begin the judging process.<\/p>\n<p><em>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s a huge honour to be recognised as the number one startup in the UK by Startups.co.uk. More important is your business journey and the passion you have for your mission.<\/p>\n<p><em>&ldquo;The way you tell the story is important.
