2016 Startups Awards finalists unveiled

Startups names 52 of the UK’s most exceptional businesses as finalists – vote now for your People’s Champion…

Startups.co.uk has revealed the 52 names that make up its 2016 Startups Awards People’s Champion finalist cohort.

Run in partnership with online accounting specialists Sage, The 13th annual Awards shines a light on the UK’s most promising and innovative early-stage businesses launched in the last few years.

Also sponsoring the event are Start Up Loans, Simply Business, haysmacintrye, 123-reg, MadeSimple Group, printed.com, DeVono Cresa and All Response Media.

Hundreds of companies entered and the prestigious panel of judges, including Cath Kidston MBE, Moonpig founder, Dragons’ Den investor Nick Jenkins and Innocent Drinks co-founder Jon Wright, will select the winning start-ups to be announced on the evening of Thursday, November 17 at at the glittering awards ceremony held at The Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington.

In addition, all 52 finalists are eligible for two further titles.

The People’s Champion award, presented by Start Up Loans, will go to the company that receives the most votes from Startups.co.uk readers. You can vote for your People’s Champion at the bottom of their profile pages or see the full list here.

And the Sage Startups Business of the Year Award, will be awarded to the overall winner, chosen by the judges from the winners of each category.

The judging day for the 2016 start-ups will take place on Wednesday, October 19.
