Finalist companies in the 2013 Startups Awards need your vote, as Startups opens polling for the ‘People’s Champion’ title, chosen by business peers and the public.

All 29 finalists, big and small, stand an equal chance of taking home the accolade, which will be decided entirely on the number of votes received for their companies rather than turnover, profit and growth – metrics the judging panel has access to.

Each company profile listed on the Startups Awards 2013 finalists’ page features a voting button where users can pick who they feel deserves the award based on the business proposition, story and branding.

Startups has provided a brief description of the companies with a link to the finalists’ own sites for voters to decide which business they like best.

To cast a vote quickly, users can skip to a voting page where they can view and quickly vote for one of the contenders.

The winner of the People’s Champion will be announced at our Startups Awards ceremony on Friday, 6 December along with 12 category winners and the overall Simply Business Startups Business of the Year, and will take home a trophy to show for their efforts.

Those who vote will also be given the chance to win a ticket to the Startups Awards gala luncheon and to hand over the People’s Champion award in person.

Voting is open now and will close on Thursday, 21 November at midnight – so don’t delay and start spreading the word for your favourite start-up now!
