The IceCream story:<\/h3>\n

Millions of smartphone users will be all too familiar with the “not enough storage” message and the painstaking process which ensues of having to go back and forth deleting precious images and videos to get below storage capacity. However, I Love IceCream has come up with a solution which means you will never have to tackle the annoying “not enough storage” notification again.<\/p>\n

Launched in July 2014 by George Berkowski; former head of product at HAILO, the IceCream app enables you to “free up” a certain amount of space for free. It tells you how much space you can free up – from 250 to 5,000 additional photos – and then lets you save your photos in the IceCream Cloud or offline in the app.<\/p>\n

It also offers a “space-saving” camera which allows you to take 10 times more photos using the same amount of storage, and even notifies you when you’re approaching space capacity.<\/p>\n

This simple idea, enabling users to avoid storage capacity and keep valued photos and videos on their phone, has attracted the interest of leading players in the app market. Riccardo Zacconi, the CEO and co-founder of Candy Crush’s King, is among those who have invested.<\/p>\n

With over 20,000 active users, 21,000 Facebook likes, and a team which brings experience from Yahoo and Meebo, IceCream believes it is a “godsend” and aims to be on every smartphone in years to come.<\/i><\/p>\n
