The Kokoon Tech story:<\/h4>\n

A familiar story for many entrepreneurs, Tim Antos found that stress was affecting his ability to fall asleep. After seeking medical help, he soon discovered the effectiveness of audio but there was just one problem – his headphones kept falling off.<\/p>\n

They say necessity is the mother of all inventions, and it was this lightbulb moment that led to the creation of Kokoon Tech alongside co-founder Richard Hall.<\/p>\n

The company’s sleep-sensing smart headphones mould to the shape of the user’s head and use specially created audio tracks to induce sleep, even adjusting the audio to ensure they’re not disturbed.<\/p>\n

As the user falls to slumber, sensors monitor electrical activity in their brain, measuring exactly when they fall asleep, the different phases of sleep and the perfect point in the natural sleep cycle to wake them up.<\/p>\n

Currently being pre-sold, over 14,000 units have been ordered from the website to date, with the start-up already generating revenues of £1.4m.<\/p>\n

Testimony to the hype, Kokoon Tech has also been approached by leading coaches from the NBA, NFL and the Premier League – all interested in helping their star athletes get a good night’s sleep.<\/p>\n
