Startups.co.uk, the UK’s leading online resource for starting a business, has partnered with web building platform BaseKit to launch Startupswebsites.co.uk-a new service which allows entrepreneurs to create their own website from scratch.

The service, available to access here, enables business owners to easily build a fast and responsive site and will help to bolster Startups’ current offering.

With over 100 professional site designs to choose from, Startupswebsites.co.uk has everything entrepreneurs need to create a site that looks great on desktop, tablets and mobiles and includes features such as SEO integration, contact forms and built-in image editing.

The partnership is based on BaseKit’s white-label model and the web building company says the launch demonstrates its “ongoing commitment to simplify the process of getting online for small businesses”.

Founded in 2008 by Richard Healey, Richard Best and Young Gun Simon Best, BaseKit has become one of the world’s fastest growing website editors with offices in London, Bristol, Toronto, Sao Paulo and over 80 employees.

Startups.co.uk’s digital marketing manager, Jonathan Young, said of the launch of Startupswebsites.co.uk:

“With such a large audience of entrepreneurs and small business owners, we’re delighted to be able to offer website building services through Startups.co.uk for the first time.

“We needed a website building platform to offer to our business community and BaseKit’s unique white-label model allows us to do just that.”

BaseKit CEO, Laurent Gibb, added: “Today’s entrepreneur or small business owner is looking for a trusted advisor to supply the resources they need to run their business.

“By partnering with Startups.co.uk, we’re able to deliver a crucial service in the start-up process that’s aligned with educational support.”
