Startups’ editorial team shortlisted for British Media Awards 2016

News editor Megan Dunsby has been named a finalist for the ‘Rising Star’ award

We are delighted to announce that Startups.co.uk’s editorial team has been shortlisted for ‘Content Team of the Year’ in the British Media Awards 2016.

And identified for her outstanding contribution to the growth of the UK’s most popular online resource for people starting a business, news editor and staff writer Megan Dunsby has also been shortlisted in the ‘Rising Star Award’ category.

Fellow finalists in the Content Team category include the BBC World Service, The Guardian, and the Financial Times, with teams behind titles such as Auto Express & Carbuyer, The Club for British Airways, WGSN, and Bauer Media’s The Debrief completing the line-up.

Open to newspapers, magazines, event companies, broadcasters, media technology companies, B2B publishers, online-only publishers and mobile-based publishers, the British Media Awards seeks to showcase the best of online and print publishing.

The judging panel, which includes EMAP managing director Andy Baker, digital director of Time Inc. UK Neil Robinson, and Huffington Post UK editor-in-chief Steve Hull, will convene on March 23 to make the final decision on each category with winners announced at the awards ceremony.

The ceremony will be held on May 4 at the London Hilton, Park Lane. Watch this space…
