Startups launches webinar events

Series of interactive online events kicks off with 'your big business idea'.

Startups fans that have so far been unable to attend our Startups Live events will now be able to benefit from our new webinars.

The Startups Webinars are a series of online events specially designed to help budding entrepreneurs start and build their business.

Each webinar will focus on a specific topic, with discussion from two entrepreneurs and other business experts.

Participants will also have the chance to put questions to the entrepreneurs, business experts and Startups editor Matt Thomas, in real time from the comfort of their own homes or offices.

‘Your big business idea’ is the first in the series of webinars – on Tuesday 30 October – and will focus on how you turn that initial flash of inspiration into a tangible successful business.

Sarah McVittie, founder of SMS information service Texperts will reveal how she knew her idea would make a flourishing business. James Hibbert, founder of Dress2Kill, will also be there to discuss how he started his bespoke tailoring company.

“The webinars are for you, controlled by you,” said Startups editor Matt Thomas. “Live, interactive and accessible globally, the Startups Webinars are a first for UK enterprise and start-ups. Watch and listen as our entrepreneurs reveal the stories behind their start-ups, then type in a question and watch it answered live.”

Other events include ‘first 100 days in business’, and ‘raising start-up finance’.
