SureCare to roll-out franchise across UK on back of regional success

Care chain’s Merseyside branch has scaled rapidly since its launch last October

SureCare, one of the country’s leading care chains, has announced plans to open a franchise in every county in England and Wales following the  growth of a number of its regional operations.

With over 30 franchises currently running in the UK, the franchise brand says it will create “hundreds of jobs” as part of the expansion and is keen for the new openings to follow in the success of recently-launched branches such as SureCare Merseyside.

Launched in October last year, the Merseyside chain has already extended its offering to include personal care and support, live-in care and respite and holiday care, and is even planning to provide a temporary staffing service to care homes om the area.

SureCare specialises in a range of care services and looks to meet the needs of elderly and working families. It offers two types of franchises; a full franchise covering a large territory, and micro-franchises – ‘SureCare Local’ – which cover smaller territories of around 100,000 people.

SureCare managing director, Gary Farrer, commented on the news: “We would like to cover the map of England and Wales with SureCare franchises and branches to ensure that everyone is able to access the highest standard of care and home services. Even if we open 10 new franchises, we have the potential to create more than 1,000 new jobs, and this will be just the start.

“We want to hear from people who may be interested in becoming a full franchisee but also from those who like the idea of becoming their own boss but can only afford the budget of a micro franchise.

“We are able to provide the intensive support, training and guidance all of our new franchisees require.”
