Very simply, what does your tech start-up do?

  • Henchman is a mobile app that lets you get anything you want delivered to your door in less than 60 minutes. Whether it’s food from your favourite restaurant that doesn’t deliver, last minute grocery shopping or even an aspirin from the pharmacy. The Henchman app assigns you your own personal Henchman to buy and deliver for you instantly. You can track your Henchman using GPS tracking on the app.
  • Henchman changes the way people buy from the restaurants and shops in their city. Henchman gets you anything you want when you want it

Tell us why there’s a need – what do you disrupt?

People live busy lives and at the same time want more choice and more convenience. Henchman empowers people by saving them time and giving them the ability to get anything they want when they want.

For small businesses, the service adds incremental revenue from customers who want instant delivery from their stores.

Are you funded?

We are currently raising a seed round with industry veterans from the tech, food and logistics space.

What were you doing before starting?

Our team has always had the mission of connecting people to get things done. We previously built an award winning skills marketplace which helps you discover skilled local people. We decided to focus on the vertical of helping people get things delivered.

Our long term vision for Henchman is to one day be the service that helps you get anything done. Before working together we came from a wide range of backgrounds including event management, computer science and medicine.

What’s the best thing about where you’re based?

We’re part of the PayPal Start Tank programme so we’re based in PayPal’s central London office. The location is amazing and we have some great advisors from PayPal and eBay which have helped our company grow incredibly fast. London has a vibrant culture and a tech savvy population and is probably the best city in the world to launch Henchman.
