Tech start-ups invited to apply for London pitching competition TechPitch 4.5

Opportunity to present to audience of investors and business experts including Proxy Ventures founder and LaunchPad Labs CEO

“Big and bright” technology start-ups have the opportunity to present their business idea to an audience of investors, advisors, and journalists, with applications now open for the next TechPitch 4.5 pitching competition.

Established in February 2011 by events agency 2Pears, London-based TechPitch 4.5 runs on a bi-monthly basis and aims to bring together early-stage tech entrepreneurs to help them receive feedback on their proposition and pitch to panel of industry leading judges.

This latest TechPitch will run on October 1 and will be chaired by Danvers Baillieu, COO of Privax, with a judging panel which includes Aapo Bovellan, founder and CEO of Proxy Ventures, James Rosewell, founder and CEO of 51 degrees, and Eddie Holmes, founder and CEO of LaunchPad Labs and investment director at Hamilton Bradshaw Real Estate (HBRE).

Over the last three years the event has featured pitches from over 120 start-ups and claims to have “proven fertile ground” for networking and making “useful connections” with potential investors, business experts, press, as well as peers, potential partners and users.

The competition aims to focus on supporting businesses to gain engagement and exposure and says it is “not about achieving funding immediately”.

Entries for TechPitch 4.5 close on August 31, you can download the application form here.
