Trevor Brocklebank elected new bfa chairman

CEO of Home Instead Senior Care, Brocklebank will now support the expansion of franchising across the UK

Trevor Brocklebank, CEO at Home Instead Senior Care, has been announced as the new chairman of the British Franchise Association (bfa).

The announcement was made at the 2016 bfa AGM and Chairman’s Dinner on December 8, following the end of Simon Bartholomew’s three-year term as chairman.

The event also saw the welcome of Mike Goddard as the bfa’s newest companion, and recognition of the positive impact made by CEO Pip Wilkins since her appointment earlier this year.

The bfa promotes ethical franchising in the UK, helping businesses to grow using good franchising practice and aiding potential franchisees in recognising and evaluating opportunities.

On his new position, Brocklebank said: “It is an immense privilege to become chair of the bfa.

“When franchising is done well, it is a superb business model and I am looking forward to being able to support its success and expansion across the UK over the coming years.”
