Triple success for MAC Tools franchisee

Company announces three new franchise hires

Falkirk franchisee John Booth has scooped three awards at MAC Tools’ annual awards ceremony at Whittlebury Hall, Northamptonshire.

Booth (pictured, centre) picked up the Performance of the Year and Top Toolbox Dealer awards, and was judged MAC Tools’ No.1 Dealer of 2011 – the second year in a row he has won the accolade.

Speaking at the ceremony, Booth says his three-pronged success “just shows how you can really make your mark with the right products and support – as last year was my first year as a MAC Tools franchisee!”

Meanwhile, Stockport-based franchisee Mike Cheffings received the Top MAC Solutions Dealer prize, while Claudio Zanobini claimed the Rookie of the Year gong.

The awards come at a pivotal time for MAC Tools, which is currently the world’s third-largest tool group and is actively seeking to increase its franchise network.

Tony Prueitt, sales director of the company’s UK Industrial & Automotive division, explained:  “Our business is expanding so we have recruited an additional national franchise manager, Steve Gotz, and two regional franchise managers, Keith Bush and William Hamilton.

“With the reinforced team we will ensure we continue to deliver first-class products and service to our customers and we know are well-placed to leverage our growth into 2012 and beyond.”
