Tyre fitting franchise etyres expands reach with Edinburgh franchisee

Former hairdresser Scott Blyth latest recruit to national tyre chain

Mobile tyre fitting franchise etyres has announced it has signed its newest franchisee, Scott Blyth, to its national network.

Blyth, who has worked as a hairdresser for the past 20 years, will be operating his business in Livingston, Edinburgh after deciding “he needed a dramatic [career] change.”

Having also owned his own hairdressing company, Blyth says he is hoping to build on his experience and is “looking forward to being his own boss” whilst scaling the business.

Launched in 1999, eytres claims to be the UK’s first online tyre franchise and specialises in mobile tyre and battery fitting with 52 territories across the country.

etyres’ franchise packages are usually available for a £30,000 fee but this fee has been reduced to £20,000 for those that join before the end of July.

Discussing his new etyres venture, Blyth said: “I’m excited about the prospect of building the business from scratch [and] I want to be able to get a second van on the road and employ a fitter as soon as possible, so that I can really grow the business.”

“Whenever I have had any questions or issues to sort out, someone from etyres has always been on hand to offer me advice and guide me. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to launching my branch and now I can’t wait to get out on the road.”
