UK courier franchise Diamond Logistics expands network with four new sites

Company on set to fulfil ambitious growth plans for nationwide roll-out in 2014

Courier service, Diamond Logistics has announced the opening of four new sites as part of its goal to extend its franchise network across the UK.

The new openings in Croydon, South Devon, Norwich and Newcastle mark a total of seven territories for the courier chain and follow its growth strategy to roll-out a further 20 depots in 2014.

Founded by Kate Lester in 1992, Diamond Logistics works with a range of businesses, local government and healthcare providers to offer same day ‘specialist’ courier services and logistics-related consultancy services.

The courier service has franchisee packages available across the country and provide an on-going training programme, website, bespoke software and promotional material. Experience in the transport industry is preferred but not essential.

New franchisee for the Norwich site Kevin Baker commented: “The franchise opportunity, compared to other franchises I looked at, was easily explained, unique in the market place, and their philosophy of ‘shared success’ made good business sense.

“I’m intending to work really hard to build a strong customer base in the Norwich area through the provision of a first class logics proposition, combining excellent quality of service that can only be achieved through small business familiarity and work ethic, allied with the advantages of being able to tap into the support of the Diamond network.”

Kate Lester, CEO and founder of Diamond Logistics added:

“It’s exciting times. This round of franchises are working with us very closely establishing and fine tuning our franchise product for the national roll out in 2014.”
