UK restaurant and hospitality business receives funding from Australian leisure group

‘Sizeable cash injection’ to fund pub and restaurant expansion plans

UK-based restaurant and hospitality company, ROCK has secured investment from Australian leisure business Colonial Leisure Group (CLG).

Founded by Nick Atkins, Jonny Townsend and Jeremy Brown, the restaurant and events management company will now be known as ROCK CLG.

Having opened its first pub and dining room in Raynes Park London earlier this year, ROCK CLG now plans to use the ‘sizeable cash injection’ to launch two new restaurants in Dorset before Christmas.

ROCK co-founder Nick Atkins, who is also considering opening three new sites across Dorset and Hampshire commented, “We consider ourselves very fortunate to have Colonial Leisure on board.

“Not only has it allowed us to move forward with opening two new Restaurant doors, we can already see the benefits that their contacts and business skills are going to our venture.  We’re really looking forward to working with Chris and the team and look forward to great times ahead.”
