UK’s youngest franchisor calls for franchisees to join eco-friendly brand

PHB Ethical Beauty looking to build on European franchises with UK expansion

The UK’s youngest ever franchise owner, 22 year-old Rose Brown, has announced nationwide franchise opportunities for her eco-friendly beauty brand PHB Ethical Beauty (PHB).

Launched in 2012, PHB claims to offer the world’s largest range of natural, halal certified and vegan registered beauty products, with all products free from animal testing.

The range is said to provide an “ethical alternative” to mainstream beauty products and is currently sold in dedicated PHB stores, and through UK retailers and online sellers in over 10 countries.

After successfully launching a franchise arm to the business earlier this year, with openings in The Netherlands and Brunei, the brand is now looking to grow its franchise network across the UK and Europe.

CEO Brown already has new franchise stores planned for early 2014 and is seeking franchisees to help take the beauty chain to the next stage of its development.

Brown commented on PHB’s growth to date:  “Not only do people love the products themselves but they love the fact we are a family-run business dedicated to offering natural, ethical and safe beauty products that are handmade in the UK.”

Kian Han Ang, master franchisor for PHB Brunei, discussed his franchise experience after opening in February:

“PHB has quickly gained popularity and established a returning customer base here in Brunei, despite being a relatively unknown name in this part of the world when we first began.

“We have already expanded into other districts in Brunei and are planning further store openings in 2014, the first of which will be in neighbouring Malaysia.”
