US co-work office provider WeWork to open second London location in Soho

New 12,000 square feet site to provide entrepreneurs with office space, IT support, and community management

Flexible office provider WeWork has revealed that it will be opening its second non-US location on Sheraton Street in Soho following the success of its South Bank office.

The new site, the official launch date yet to be confirmed, will occupy approximately 12,000 square feet and will offer “creators” and entrepreneurs access to desk space, IT support, on-site community management as well as free coffee and beer.

Founded in 2010 by Adam Neumann and Miguel McKelvey, WeWork has grown rapidly in America with buildings in several key locations including New York, Seattle, Boston, and Los Angeles and has a network of over 15,000 business owners that use its services.

It has recently turned its attention to overseas growth and last month launched its first London site at Sea Container House which opened with 80% occupancy.

It intends for the Soho site to build on its growth in the capital with founder Neumann having commented that the company “want to grow with the independent workforce here and help match the demand for space”.
