Virgin Business Broadband installation costs:

How much does it cost to install Virgin Media business broadband?

Virgin business broadband comes with a minimum installation cost of £50 per site. Note: excess construction charges may apply.

Once you’ve placed your order with Virgin Media, you’ll be assigned a dedicated order manager who will call you within five working days and it’s with them that you’ll organise an installation date.

After that, your Voom installation journey will look something like this:

1. Site survey
(Only required if external cabling is needed). For this you’ll need someone on site and a copy of your asbestos register if your building was built before the year 2000 – see this link for more details on asbestos regulations.

2. Construction/cabling
Sometimes local construction work is required to lay cables under a road (for example). This will hold-up connection time but you’ll be kept in-the-know the whole way.

3. Installation
When it comes to installing your Virgin business broadband, you need to ready the site by ensuring that there is a sufficient power supply and that there is enough space for the installation.

4. Completion
Once the system has been fully tested, your order manager will confirm when the service is live and ready to use, note: the service will take up to 48 hours to stabilise.
