Virgin StartUp launches enterprising “HotHouse” tour

Series of business workshops and events to run across the country

Business support organisation Virgin StartUp has announced that it will be hitting the road to support the UK’s “hottest” start-ups; hosting a series of events to help entrepreneurs develop their business ideas.

Visiting regions across the country, the HotHouse Tour 2014 will comprise of free-to-attend workshops offering start-ups access to financial advice, networking opportunities, and panel sessions with successful business leaders.

Business advisors will also be on-hand to offer support with loan applications through the Virgin StartUp Loans scheme.

Launched last October, Virgin StartUp is a not-for-profit venture which seeks to provide funding, mentoring and advice to young entrepreneurs aged 18-30.

It intends for its latest initiative to help “accelerate” business plans and turn “entrepreneurial dreams into reality”.

The tour launches in Gatheshead, Newcastle on Thursday 30 hosted by 2013 Startups Award presenter David McQueen and will include guest speeches from successful local entrepreneurs.
