Vodafone has said that “millions” of small and medium-sized businesses are set to benefit from a better internet connection following the news that it has made its superfast fibre broadband service available across the UK.

Fibre broadband and phone packages will be available from £30.99 (excluding VAT) per month including line rental.

The package includes smart divert, which allows business owners to have landline calls diverted to their mobiles when they’re out so they don’t miss important calls.

Vodafone is one of many telecommunications businesses targeting the UK’s small business community; last year Virgin Media Business launched its free installation service for small firms and Avonline Broadband ended connection charges for businesses in rural locations.

Phil Mottram, enterprise director of Vodafone, commented: “Superfast, reliable, secure broadband is absolutely essential to keep the country’s businesses in business.

“We’ve invested heavily in our own dedicated network of enterprise quality, fibre optic broadband and can now offer a broadband and landline phone package that’s feature rich with the benefit of enhanced service levels.”
