World’s first TV show dedicated to crowdfunding launches

Apprentice winner Stella English to host multi-platform service CrowdBox TV

The first ever multi-platform programme focused on the crowdfunding industry, CrowdBox TV, launches this weekend to give entrepreneurs the chance to promote their business ideas across web, mobile and television.

Said to mark the “beginning of a revolution in crowdfunding”, the show will be presented by Apprentice winner Stella English and will air crowdfunding pitches and campaign videos from across the world.

Running as a monthly series, the first show will broadcast this Sunday, 19 Jan, on Sky channel 192 at 5pm, and will develop into a “fully fledged” TV platform later this year.

Marc Hayward, CrowdBox founder and managing director, said: “At CrowdBox we love to see projects get funded and make dreams come true.

“We know this doesn’t happen without hard work and preparation, which is why we are keen to help our clients reach their target and get the money they need.”

CrowdBox operations manager, Jack Darby, continued: “Whether you want to start a community-based project, fund a small business venture, publish a book, or help launch the next Facebook, CrowdBox will help you promote your fundraising campaign.”
