Shortlist is the most widely circulated men's magazines in the country, and has managed to become a commercial success as well as achieving a 30% market share. Mike Soutar is the chief executive who co-founded the company in 2006.

He a 20 year record of achievement in print and broadcast media, seeing success both here and in America. As editor of FHM, he increased UK sales from 50,000 to 500,000 in less than three years. While at the helm of Maxim USA, he saw sales double. Before starting Shortlist Media, he launched Nuts, now the biggest-selling men's magazine in history in 2004, and created women's weekly Pick Me Up in 2005.

He is now planning the first international edition of Shortlist, to be launched in Russia.
