Cambridge graduate Richard Reed co-founded Innocent Drinks in 1999, with an initial outlay of £500 on fruit. Together with the other founders, Adam Balon and Jon Wright, Richard grew Innocent into an international operation  with a turnover of over £100 million.  Today, innocent sells over two million smoothies a week and has over 75% market share in the UK.  In just 12 years, Innocent has grown from 3 to 250 people who work across Europe, with innocent products found in 13 European countries.

The success of Innocent has earned Richard numerous awards, including Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and Marketing magazine’s Most Admired Business Leader. He has also become a renowned public speaker on business and entrepreneurship, and taken up several high-profile roles including a non-executive directorship with the Department of Energy and Climate Change, and a place on Oxfam’s Development Board.
