James set up Aspray in 2005 bringing just the right skills and background to this ground-breaking franchise opportunity. He has extensive experience in franchising and previously worked in the franchised family removals business for 12 years and then worked in the insurance reinstatement industry. James’s goal from the beginning of Aspray was to build a leader in the field of claims handling and whilst we achieved this goal some time ago, the sights of the company are focused on maintaining this valuable stance.

All James’s family for generations have run their own business and he makes sure that the company ethos where Aspray expect each of their customers to be dealt with as if they were members of our own family, is adhered to at all times resulting in our large quantity of referral business.

So do franchisees work from an office, or are they home-based? Is it part-time or full-time?

Franchisees can work from home keeping overheads low. Aspray is a full time business.

How are franchisees vetted?

Aspray seek to recruit driven, and credible individuals whose skills are likely to enhance the skill set of the national network and who’s work ethic and drive matches their desire to earn a higher than average income. We recruit by asking candidates to complete a large amount of due-diligence designed to help candidates gain the information required to understand what the franchise opportunity could potentially offer.

Along with a starter pack and exclusive territory, all franchisees attend a comprehensive induction course at Aspray’s head office. Practical knowledge is enhanced and underpinned by training modules which help give the franchisees the ability to fully understand the UK regulatory framework, and the technical aspects of the insurance industry, and in particular the comprehension of the hard work needed.
