Allison Harper

As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Allison has worked in a variety of senior Finance roles in organisations ranging from PLCs to SMEs, manufacturing companies to the UK subsidiary of an international training company.

During this time she has had first-hand experience of mergers and demergers, acquisitions, a trade sale and starting five businesses.

Allison realised in the late nineties that it was the small business world that really excited her and in 2002 she did a management buyout of etc consultancy limited, a business she had be working in since 1998, which provided development programmes and coaching for directors and owner/managers of ambitious, growing businesses.

It was during this time that she met David Lester where they worked together on a joint venture. She then began working with Crimson in 2005 and came on board as Finance Director when etc was sold in 2006.

Over the last twelve years she has gained extensive experience of working at board level with small businesses – facilitating workshops and away days, delivering bespoke training and providing executive coaching and mentoring. Since the start of 2012, Allison has been setting up a new division within Crimson.
