Chris Broadbent

Chris founded The Internet Works with business partners Sam Rickett and Kelvin McManus in 2008. The group of companies, based in London SE1, has since grown to employ over 100 digital experts in software development, search engine marketing and contract sales.

After graduating from the University of Hertfordshire he moved to London to pursue a career in media sales working across a range of media businesses before becoming a Director of a listed media company in 2004. He quit this career four years later to pursue his dream of owning his own business – this in the same month that his wife told him she was pregnant and someone on the telly was warning of an impending recession!

Although The Internet Works counts FTSE100 companies amongst its client base, Chris says his real buzz comes from working with other entrepreneurs:
