Rob Hamilton founded Instant in May 1999 to amalgamate the fragmented serviced office sector into one online marketplace, bringing the power of the internet into what was a slow-moving and traditional industry.

He subsequently grew the business to be the market leader in all key global serviced office markets, diversified it to be the largest Managed Office provider in the UK, and established its Miami and Sydney offices.

Rob’s success as an entrepreneur has won Instant a gallery of prestigious awards. In 2011 Instant powered up The Sunday Times’ Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For league at number 23 for the fifth year running, in recognition of the group’s proven strengths as an excellent employer.

It also featured in The Sunday Times’ Virgin Fast Track 100 league of fastest growing private UK companies in 2009; won the 2008 HR Excellence Award for the Growing Business category; and in the same year was named as one of only four companies to feature in the shortlist for the National Business Awards’ City & Guilds Employer of the Year category.
