The Dataloop story:

With a customer base which includes British Gas, Moz.com and BBC Worldwide, tech start-up Dataloop has come an awfully long way in less than two years since launch.

Founded by David Gildeh, Steven Acreman and Colin Hemmings; the co-founder of software company SambaStream acquired by Alfresco, Dataloop helps businesses “stay up and running” using unique cloud monitoring technology which instantly alerts clients to issues happening on their servers and applications behind the scenes.

With the ability to set-up monitoring across thousands of servers within minutes and demand for monitoring growing, the business’ innovative offering has pulled in big name clients that want their online services protected.

Having successfully raised seed funding from Forward Partners, the company is now looking at raising a “much larger round” from venture capitalists to accelerate its success alongside ambitious plans to grow overseas with a US office in the pipeline.

At its current growth rate, Dataloop says it is on track to be a leading player in the monitoring space and believes it has the capability to solve an increasingly complex problem for online businesses.

Why Dataloop made our 60:

A tech business which has built a tool to help other tech businesses grow, it’s unsurprising that Dataloop’s pioneering service is becoming the go-to for big brands. Monitoring provides an important defence to protect online services. We predict big things.
