Franchisee Julian Westwood invested in Diamond Logistics after spending nine years running his own recruitment consultancy business. 

His experience in the recruitment industry ensured he was prepared to deal with some of the logistics of running his own franchise.

Westwood says he decided to join the Diamond Logistics franchise as it offered him a “model breaking business opportunity for literally turning the traditional courier company model on its head”.

The package included a series of partnership-led supply agreements, marketing ideas and was supported by proprietary software.

Since becoming part of the franchise, which is a specialist same-day courier company providing B2B clients courier and logistics services, Westwood has made sure to follow the company ethos of delivering both promises to customers and profits.

Since launching in 2014, Westwood has been continuing to build upon Diamond Logistics’ partnerships with clients, carriers and couriers; as well as actively seeking and winning new clients. The franchisee has joined the fast track programme and plans for his Birmingham branch to meet the £1m turnover mark in less than three years.
