Founded in 2004, Rob Hill’s multi-pronged events company The Eventa Group has seen success in not just one, but two discrete sectors – a truly impressive feat in the notoriously competitive events industry. Its two brands specialising in pre-nuptial celebrations – The Stag Company and Hen Heaven – provide an online portal for customers to create their ideal stag or hen do without organisational headaches, offering VIP clubbing in Bournemouth, boat parties in Ibiza and much more. Financial protection is offered as standard to all customers, with venues paid through an individual online payment facility, so customers can enjoy their weekend with minimum fuss whilst suppliers never have to play the debt collector. Eventa also runs a corporate events branch through its Eventa.co.uk website, specialising in Christmas and summer parties for business clients with guest lists of up to 1,000. This has proved a particularly lucrative side of the business, with impressive customer retention rates of more than 70% and some of the UK’s largest blue chip companies signed up.

Both sides of Eventa’s model have enjoyed remarkable success, and Hill’s company has seen revenues grow to £10.5m in 2013, with this expected to increase to £15m this year as the 70-strong team continues to make strides in a congested market.
