Using the platform, companies can find business school graduates by posting contracts online, which the MBAs competitively bid for using an eBay-style rating system. Callaghan has overseen the remarkable growth of MBA & Company to become a leader in the management consultancy sector – more than £500,000 worth of work a week is now posted on the platform, helping to drive revenues of £2m, a figure which the young entrepreneur expects to double by the end of the year.

20,000 consultants are now part of the MBA & Company network, helping to generate more than £20m in projects completed across 130 countries. The business marked an investment coup earlier this year when it secured £800,000 MMC Ventures-led funding, taking its total backing to more than £2m and enabling Callaghan to launch a unique on-demand service which is set to allow businesses to receive ad-hoc project work delivered instantly from the marketplace’s growing pool of consultants.
