Patients can read reviews written by other patients or recommendations by other health professionals, and book a nearby, available doctor in less than 60 seconds.Doctify also allows doctors to manage all of their patients using an easy-to-use booking software.Tell us why there is a need – what did you disrupt?It’s easy to find and book a trusted taxi driver, hotel or restaurant, or read reviews when you buy a toaster. Why is it so difficult to find the right doctor? Doctify brings transparency into healthcare, providing you with information on professionals, reviews, testimonials and honest details about pricing.Making the right choice is utterly important when it comes to our health or the health of our loved ones. Doctify is a tool with which users can make the right choice, showing which doctor is available and allowing instant booking.Doctify is an independent platform and is signing up more and more doctors every day.Is Doctify funded?Yes, we have closed a Series A funding round.What were you doing before you started Doctify?Saha and I are best friends. I met Saha when I worked in his team as a junior doctor, and we have been inseparable since. When I had an urgent medical need and found it difficult to find the right doctor, we decided to create Doctify.Jung was my brother’s flatmate – he had left the corporate world and was about to work in a start-up. We pitched the idea to him when we had a soft commitment from our first investor. We went on to launch in June 2015.What’s the best thing about being based in London?Working in a vibrant international city is amazing. People come to London because they want to make it.
