In little over a year, Nick Blake has grown his company from a three-person team – himself, his wife and their production manager – to a successful catering group with eight employees, 90 reoccurring customers, and according to its bank the “fastest growing new businesses on their books and possibly their fastest growing franchise”.

Its growth has led to Blake investing in a second delivery van three months ahead of schedule with a third on its way.

Blake attributes his success to a detailed and customer-specific service with a 16-stage conversion process instead of the traditional menu system used by most caterers, along with a commitment to offering the best quality products; fantastic presentation and freshly prepared food without compromise.

The franchise manages to keep to this high standard by systemised business management system that includes menu proposal forms, a Jasper’s catering form and constantly measuring performance and evolving. The company also has a proactive approach to promoting its service to businesses by offering free trials or added extras – such as sample fruit boxes – to clients’ orders.

In addition to this the franchise is also very active in the local community. It contributes to its nominated charities in Warrington & St Helens, the Foundation 4 Peace & Tunza Pride Children Community Charity, as well as developing a local housing trust to raise awareness for Dementia Friends on National Dementia Awareness Day.

Why Jasper’s Catering Services made our 50:

Jasper’s Warrington has made rapid strides in its territory, securing an impressive portfolio of happy customers more than prepared to provide testimonials. It’s no coincidence that in little over a year, Nick Blake’s business has grown to become one of Jasper’s fastest growing franchises.
