Royal Day Spa & Members’ Health Club on target to double turnover and open second facility following Startups Awards win.

Since winning ‘Team of the Year’ at last year’s Startups Awards, the exclusive, luxury Royal Day Spa & Members’ Health Club (www.royal-dayspa.co.uk) located in Tunbridge Wells has expanded the workforce to provide a wider range of experience and more diverse product offering.

It is also on target to double turnover during 2006 with a second Spa planned for the near future.

“The business has gone from strength to strength in recent months,” comments Shelly Murphy, Founder and Managing Director.

“Winning the Startups Award was just brilliant and helped give us added credibility as well as raise our profile. We also noticed a boost in the number of hits on our website especially in the period immediately after the awards ceremony. We’ve added some dynamic new people to the team and look forward to replicating what we’ve achieved in Kent when we launch the second Spa.”

The Royal Day Spa & Members’ Health Club was established in March 2005 to break the mould of traditional health clubs by offering a holistic approach to mental and physical well-being. Members can choose from a range of activities, including five different types of yoga, Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, belly dancing and pilates.

In addition, the club features a jacuzzi and salt water pool while masseurs and therapists provide all kinds of organic treatments to soothe mind, body and soul. Membership is restricted to 500 to ensure quality and exclusivity.
