Startups Awards agrees three-year Simply Business partnership

The Startups Awards’ headline sponsor for the next three years will be Simply Business, after the UK’s largest business insurance broker decided to extend its support of the scheme.

Simply Business has more than 250,000 small business customers and provides the most suitable, tailored quotes from the nation’s most trusted insurance providers.

Head of marketing & communications at Simply Business Jasper Martens, said the company was “bowled over by the talent, prospective success and raw energy of the businesses that make the shortlist”, when it awarded ‘going out app’ YPlan with the Simply Business Startups Business of the Year title in December last year.

He continued: “From the next-generation marketing platforms to innovative swimming class franchises and flexible working solutions, the products and services entered each year give us enormous pride in our sponsorship, and enthusiasm for the years to come.

The awards will take place on November 27, 2014, in the stunning setting of the Kensington Roof Gardens.

New businesses will compete for one or more of 13 categories, as well as the overall title of the Simply Business Startups Business of the Year and the People’s Champion award, voted for by Startups.co.uk readers.
