Enjoy Education founder Kate Shand, member of the Young Guns class of 2013, has announced that she has joined David Cameron and his delegation of senior ministers and business leaders on a trade visit to China.

The visit, which begun yesterday and will end on December 4, will see Shand launch a one-to-one online tutoring service for the Chinese market.

Launched in 2006, London-based Enjoy Education is a tutoring consultancy service which offers a full range of supplementary education services using a pool of over 4000 experienced tutors – 90% of whom are graduates of Russell Group and Ivy League universities.

The extension of its offering overseas is said to allow Chinese students and adult-learners to have access to “quality British education” and will target those opting to take British and international exam qualifications, such as A Levels and IGCSEs.

The tutoring service claims the launch will support a greater understanding of values and culture between Britain and China and insists we “may even see the first links […] established between the next generation of leaders.”

The announcement follows the tutoring consultancy’s recent award win at the Education Investor Awards where it was crowned ‘Best Supplementary Education Provider’.
