Expert travel advice site My Destination, founded by 2012 Young Guns Neil Waller and James Street, has unveiled a global competition, offering a round-the-world ticket to one winning blogger.

The six month all expenses paid trip will be awarded to the winner of the Travel’s Biggest Baddest Bucket List competition, who will also benefit from a $50,000 cash prize on their return.

Travelling to 25 international destinations from June 8, the winner will be set a series of challenges, about which they will be expected to blog.

Launched in 2006, My Destination provides users with travel advice and information directly from local experts.

The competition, launched in partnership with international associates including Hotels.com, Travelex and Viator marks My Destination’s first global marketing campaign.

To enter the competition, keen bloggers are invited to share a video outlining their world’s favourite destination, along with a travel style blog.

Five candidates will be selected by My Destination, before the overall winner is voted by the public and announced on May 7.
