His second, Pan Energy Markets, was formed after he identified a gap in the green energy market, and the proprietary trading house, which acts as a financial intermediary bringing buyers and sellers together, has seen a turnover of £370m from June 2009 to date. It originally traded in carbon emissions credits, but has now added metals and gas in the UK, Europe, India, Brazil and China to the mix.
